Synopsis:
Berlin is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language spy thriller, set against the backdrop of New Delhi in 1993. The story follows a deaf-mute young man, portrayed by Ishwak Singh, who finds himself accused of espionage. During his interrogation, the government brings in a sign language expert, played by Aparshakti Khurana, to interpret. As the investigation deepens, the line between guilt and innocence blurs, entangling the sign language expert in a dangerous web of political deceit. The film masterfully explores themes of trust, power, and betrayal.
Production:
Directed by Atul Sabharwal, known for his previous works Class of ’83 and Aurangzeb, Berlin was produced by Zee Studios and Yippie Ki Yay Motion Pictures. The shooting began in February 2024 and wrapped up by April 2024, setting the stage for a thrilling cinematic experience.
