Plot Summary
Sanjay Rajkot, widely known as “Sikandar,” is a respected figure in Rajkot, Gujarat. He is married to Saisri, a painter affectionately called Rani Saidha.
During a flight, Arjun—son of powerful minister Rakesh Pradhan—tries to blackmail Monica, a former adult film actress, threatening to expose her past unless she complies with his demands. Sanjay, also on the same flight, steps in and confronts Arjun, beating him and his bodyguards before forcing an apology.
Angered by the incident, Minister Rakesh hires Inspector Prakash to arrest Sanjay. However, when Prakash arrives at Sanjay’s home, he’s told by Saisri that Sanjay has already surrendered himself. At the police station, Prakash finds Sanjay protected by senior officers, who instruct him to release Sanjay.
Despite his public heroism, Saisri feels increasingly distant from Sanjay. He forgets important dates, like their anniversary and her birthday. When she discovers she is pregnant, she tries to tell him, but he’s urgently called away to handle a crisis—his quarry manager has illegally sold 40 kg of explosives. Saisri follows him to the site, where she is tragically caught in a bomb blast. Though rushed to the hospital, she dies before revealing her pregnancy.
Before her death, Saisri had pledged to donate her organs. Her lungs, eyes, and heart are transplanted into three different patients in Mumbai. When Sanjay learns about this, he travels to meet the recipients, determined to connect with pieces of Saisri still living in the world.
He first meets Kamar, a young orphan from Dharavi suffering from lung disease due to toxic pollution. The area’s poor air quality is a result of illegal dumping orchestrated by businessman Virat Bakshi, who aims to force residents off the land to make way for a shopping mall.
Sanjay next visits Vaidehi Ranga, who received Saisri’s eyes. She runs a vadam (crispy snack) shop and lives with her conservative in-laws. Her business suffers due to her father-in-law’s belief that women shouldn’t work.
Finally, he meets Nisha, the recipient of Saisri’s heart, who is now hospitalized again due to organ failure. Moved by her condition, Sanjay arranges for a renowned doctor from Dubai to virtually assist the local team, successfully stabilizing her. He later learns that her heart condition worsened after a heartbreaking breakup, when her ex-boyfriend Kapil informed her of his upcoming wedding.
Through these encounters, Sanjay finds a renewed sense of purpose as he fights social injustice, helps those touched by his late wife’s generosity, and confronts the enemies that threaten them.
